Annual Spring Clean-up for the Cemetery.

"I can remember in the past there was an ice storm in Willis that left many broken branches in the Cemetery.  Volunteers came and helped us gather and haul off many trailer loads of debris.  I feel the time has come to make it an annual event.  Spring cleanup for the cemetery will be the last weekend in April every year.  We want to invite the local community and churches to help support the Willis Cemetery by attending this important annual event."

The grass continues to grow and the mowing and weed eating continues.
Mowed the entire Cemetery the week before Easter.
The Annual Willis Cemetery Volunteer Cleanup begins Saturday April 25 at 9am

We will move the Annual Spring Cleanup to next weekend.. Saturday, May 2 to allow everyone that could not make it another chance before Mother's Day!

Installed a Willis Cemetery sign (4' x 8') at the corner of FM-1097 and Cemetery Road and at every gate to make for easy navigation in the Cemetery.  The Conroe Courier came out for coverage of the Annual Volunteer Cleanup and should be posting information about moving it to next weeked in this Sunday's paper.


The grass continues to grow and the mowing and weed eating continues.

The Annual Spring Cleanup is going to be extended to the first weekend in May.
Volunteers welcomed to bring weedeaters, rakes, and hoes.

The grass continues to grow although at a slow rate due to the lack of rain.
